Alessandro Russo, aka `Slok`, (Dj/Musician/Producer/Radio
Speaker/Digital Label Manager) rise in Italy as a forerunner of Italian
Break Beat & Drum`n`Bass sound with `They Call It Jungle` (IRMA
Records`97). Fifteen years of discographic business, projects and
collaborations with various national and international labels who brings
him to join Satoshi Tomiie and Hector Romero (SAW/Defmix - USA) for the
release the club hit `Lonely Child`, some remixes for the berliner Get
Physical Music (M.A.N.D.Y) and Robbie Rivera`s Juicy Music, and last but
not least, his stuff and dj sets from 2002 to 2005 under the name of
Stereonova, for the great historic Plastic Fantastic from London.
Since 2006, april, his own label Electronic Petz is growing, achieving
success and support from house music masters even with the first
releases. In Italy he`s one of the voices and co-producer of `MAGMA`
(www.magmaweb.it), a radio format specialized in international
electronic music (underground), broadcasted in syndication on 43 italian
radio stations, in which they play the latest and best dj sets from all
over the planet. He played in Italy but also in China, Portugal,
Croatia, Slovenia, France, Hungary, Ukraine, South Africa, Reunion
Island, all places where he`s well-known and appreciated.
Nowadays, thanks to an exclusive agreement with one of the most
prestigious international entertainment booking agency (
www.mostwanteddjs.com ) from Toronto, Canada, he travel all over the
world bringing his “Electro Minimal Tech House” dj sets in the best
clubs.
