Australia: Mason interview
Dutch DJ Mason is probably best known for his 2006 hit ‘Exceeder’, one of the biggest tracks of that summer which was last year mashed up with Princess Superstar’s ‘Perfect’ to create the imaginatively titled (and frankly, rather heinous) bootleg ‘Perfect Exceeder’.
These days, Mason has just released a new single, ‘Bermuda Triangle’ and is currently touring western Europe.
We caught up with him last month as he completed his Australasian tour which included a headline gig at the biggest dance festival in the southern hemisphere, Summadayze.

Miss Kittin @ Bugged Out, The End
Headlining the Bugged Out night for the first time in a year, Miss Kittin was always guaranteed to draw a big crowd at The End last Saturday.
The woman behind two of the biggest hits of 2001 and 2002, ‘Silver Screen Shower Scene’ (with Felix Da Housecat) and ‘Rippin Kittin’ (with Golden Boy), and what is widely regarded as the best compilation of the Bugged Out series in 2006, was back for the label’s Christmas party, much to the delight of her London fans.
Joined by Bugged Out resident JoJo De Freq, Clandestino co-founder Miss Jools and Erol Alkan and MSTRKRFT favourites Skull Juice, among others, the night was a minimal-electro bash of epic proportions that had the crowd enraptured from start to finish.
