Marcel Fengler remixes Quake for Coincidence Records

Quake [a] is best described in one simple word: analogue. Hardware freaks to the core, this belgium based enigmatic duo makes their tracks with as little use of software as possible. And for their debut EP on Coincidence Records [l] they get remixed by Berghain resident Marcel Fengler [a]. The release is coming out on vinyl and on Beatport.

Tom Dazing & Gols launch their Thrill Recordings label

As the new year is slowly grinding back into the right gear, it also makes way for the birth of new ideas and projects. After months and months of planning, belgian nightlife treasures Tom Dazing [a] and Gols [a] step up to the plate with their own label Thrill Recordings. They will be focussing on releasing music from unknown yet promising artists besides their own material. If you know that they just signed tracks to infamous labels such as Monique Musique [l], Circle [a] and recently also did a vinyl for Coincidence Records [l], you should know pretty much what to expect… Coming to you beginning of February 2011 with a first release by the label bosses themselves.

Psytox presents new release “Margie Killed Ray Van Mechelen” and label showcase at Tomorrowland.

Coincidence Records [l] label boss Psytox next release is due to come out end of February on Beatport, and is a serious techno stomper. But it’s also a project ‘with a little help from my friends’, as it was mastered by Tom Hades [a] and Soren Aalberg did the remix. But that’s not all…

Coincidence Records compiles the best of Forteana

Forteana Records was the sublabel of Coincidence Records [l], a lab of sorts to experiment with some tracks that didn’t quite fit into the label’s sound. However, times change and the labels grew towards one another, so the ned for seperate label faded. And so did the Forteana label which got discontinued early 2009. However, the tracks still sound up to date, so we figured it was better to give them a proper rerelease on the Coincidence label so that the work of these fine artists wouldn’t be forgotten.

20th Release On Coincidence By Soren Aalberg: One Lap To Much incl rmxs by Estroe and Pierco

Coincidence Records [l] is a belgian label focussing on bringing music from unknown artists that deserve the extra push in the right direction. Especially in these days where everyone seems to buy names rather than buying music that is simply good.
The twentieth release is produced by Soren Aalberg, a man that is as mysterious as he is talented. Remixes are from dutch underground monument Estroe [a] and belgian underground ehm… person Pierco.

First release for Nathalie gets the rinse from Tom Dazing

Nathalie is one of those people that you find intriguing right from the first moment you meet them.

A fantastic DJ (she played at infamous venues such as 10DaysOff Festival and Cafe d’Anvers), a talented visual artist, a pretty unique designer and stubborn enough to make her own producing sound right from the very beginning.

Together with London based Ivo Stoyadinov she went into the studio and came out with a series of tracks of which “I Am” is her first release. It is a very stripped down minimal track with lyrics in which Nathalie explains about art and the pain of being an artist.

Mr. Mau: Exploration EP on Forteana Records

Mr. Mau [a] (real name: Dries Bultynck) is one of those guys that have been around for years in the better parts of the techno scene, but has always stayed under the radar of the bigger nights. A reason is perhaps that he has always stayed true to his sound and steered away from adapting himself too much to the hype of the moment. He has release on labels like Labyrinth, Kobalt and Klips, and is scheduled to found his own imprint in 2009.

Another KozzMozz edition on 20th December

Last Kozzmozz bash of 2008, let’s make it one to remember! KozzMozz has been at the forefront of techno music for almost 15 years now and continues to stay true to the ‘original’ techno sounds without losing sight of new artists.

We sure hope the presence of Luke Slater will help in doing so, especially as he’s bringing us a Planetary Assault Systems set, his legendary moniker under which he will also bring us a new album in 2009.

And, as if one headliner isn’t enough, we’ve also got a very special project in store for you with O/V/R, an interactive DJ-set of James Ruskin of Blueprint [l] and Regis of Downwards [l].

Tomaz and resident Kr!z complete the line-up in the main room whilst Spacid will be leading the gang in the Ultra room. More minimal sounds will be brought to you by Juannes, Psytox and Cube.

KozzMozz presents another edition of their minimal concept ULTRA

The better minimal sounds, with a twist, brought to you in a great venue with a great team & crowd.

Ultra [a] [l] has already been the battle ground for massive sets by people like Heartthrob [a], JPLS [a], Tom Dazing [a], Jay Haze [a] and many more.

This edition promises to be a whopper as well: Italoboyz [a] will be behind the decks and before the event you can follow workshops and masterclasses at the Play&Produce event.
