I’ve worked for Beatport since August 2003 & am currently Director of Promotional Services for Beatport.  I’m originally from Colorado but have spent 18 months in our office in Berlin & am now working between Berlin & London. 
I love dirty, wonky, booty-shaking house & techno.  Some of my favorite artists are Switch, BoysNoize, Jacques Le Conte, Jesse Rose, Hot Chip, Simian Mobile Disco, Justice, etc. 
But I also love funky, deep, techy grooving house & techno.  Some of my favorite DJs are Dixon, Sebo K, Laurent Garnier, & Dominik Eulberg.
My favorite music to dance to, though, is drum & bass or dubstep.  I don’t know much about the artists or labels… all I know is that’s what will keep me on the dancefloor for the longest periods of time.
I also love to listen to indie/rock.  Lately I can’t get enough of MGMT or Vampire Weekend.  And I would also highly recommend everyone make time to listen to Led Zeppelin & Radiohead albums with regularity.  It’s good for you!
