Performer and lyricist, home based in the north coast of Portugal, this artist, producer & remixer colaborates with several projects, and works in a solo tip.

Talented and gifted, MC Johnny Def it’s much more then just an MC. He..s a new defenition of a Real - Time, Live Act, vocal electronic Remixer and Host Entertainer, recognised by some of today’s world top DJ’s.

Combining a wide range of FX from a Rackmount unit with the use of an unique voice technique, just like a dj mixes tracks, he always manages to get in and get out of the songs in the right spot and at the right time. Not more, not less! Soundind warm and different along the sets.

Making the bridje between the DJs and the crowd, working as a party host. Recieving, transforming and recycling the energy, he’s an open minded being, ready to create a better world with sound waves and shapes. Music..s a powerfull tool of comunication!

In 1994 started to work professionaly in night clubs and became the resident warm up DJ, Light Jockey and Master of Cerimony from the famous “ Rock’s Club” in Vila Nova De Gaia - Portugal, where he had the chance to work with some of the most relevant names from the Dance Music World Scene. But that, it..s just the main genesis…

MC Johnny Def can be described as a low profile artist with a lot of experience. From a private after-hours in to a huge festival of 50.000 People.
