Enthusiastic about the radio show “electronics” on East German radiostation DT64 in the early nineties he started to buy records and to make music at the age of 14 by programming with C64 and Amiga 500. In 1996 he co-founded the club project “Flugzeugwerft” with the typical flair of East German techno parties. It was one of the first big platforms for electronic club music in Dresden. He started live performing with Roland TR drummachines and some analogue synthesizers.

In the final days of Flugzeugwerft in 1998 he founded the record label ETUI Records. After 3 releases and some years later he met Sören Matschiste in January 2006. Together they reanimated the label ETUI Records and founded the project Insect & Matschiste. Right now his sound is changing to a kind of melodic minimal techno not only consisting of simple bleeps and bloops but also emotional soundscapes that bring him and the crowd through the night.
