With a career that spans nearly two decades and runs the gamut from collaborating on worldwide hits like “Yin” and “Yang” to designing sounds and audio content for Ableton, Korg, Roland, Avid and FXpansion, Francis Preve’s contributions to the EDM community have earned him a unique place in the pantheon of DJ/producers. While many of his high-profile colleagues have opted to specialize - focusing their talents on production or DJing - Preve’s passion for sound itself has placed him squarely at the intersection of both the technology world and dance community at large.
In 2011, Preve launched his own imprint - Academik Records - to showcase the skills of his growing crew of protegees and padawans, as well as provide a direct outlet for his original tracks and collaborations.
