Born, on September 16, 1971 in Montevideo, Uruguay, Fernando Picon is also known as Sferik and Ground (Fernando Picon & Ariel Perazzoli).

Resident of the best clubs in Montevideo and Punta del Este for more than 18 years thanks to his versatility and experience in the dancefloors.  He has also become an important music producer and event organizer: Rave Sudamericana Tour, Adrenalina (una noche de Paz) and Punta Loop.

In his sets he transports us with a house, tech & fusion grooves.
Disco, pop, 80 s and tech music in his early years have had a significant influence and enriched his musical culture.

Internationally, Fernando has worked in Argentina, Brasil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador & Peru, playing in Creamfields (Buenos Aires), SAMC (Buenos Aires), East Festival (Punta del Este) y Lima Fest (Peru) and shared booth with artists like: John Digweed, Mr. C, Hernan Cattaneo, Steve Lawler, Nic Fanciulli, Nick Warren, Tania Vulcano, Dj Tarkan y Ricardo Villalobos, Tarkan, Castelli, Ariel Perazzoli, among others.

In his current music producer phase he has presented his record label, Surbeats Records (www.surbeats.com), and is editing his tracks in Molacacho Records, Area Sur, Housework Family‚ Beatwork Records, Supermusic Records‚ Soulman Music, Pild Music,labels. E Rhythm Project, complements his developments in the area, fusiing electronic with native rhythms like: candombe, zamba, etc. And working with different style artists; CHOLE of Abuela Coca, T Subsystem, Trio En Clave (Percussion), Edison Mourino (violin) among others.
