I’ve worked for Beatport since August 2003 in all sorts of capacities, but am currently on our Marketing team.
I am a dance music enthusiast, but not a producer or DJ. I’ve also been a promotional material distribution specialist (rave flier bitch), an event location administrator (map point bitch) and an event entry coordinator (door bitch).
Some of my favorite times, though, were working the counter of a vinyl shop, playing records all day and drawing the logos of all my favorite labels onto the separation boards.
So now they’re letting me write articles for Beatport. You won’t read me slagging anything off because I think that’s a waste of time. If I’m telling you about something its because I like it and think you might like it too, so don’t be surprised if I never say anything negative.
