I’ve recently sat down with Lance Blaise, owner of ”Teggno Records‘, one of the key contributers to the ever-growing spread of techno scene in the Miami area and internationally, due to his chart-topping productions that captured the attention of Beatport users. In case you’re wondering what his sound is all about, here are couple of promo sets for you to download: April mix and July mix. Quality-over-quantity is definitely Lance’s motto, and here’s your chance to learn more about the man himself!

In the interview, Carl Cox says, “The true sound of techno that comes out of New York is, as far as I’m concerned, on that label”, and goes on to explain how he’s a big fan of the label, so much so, that he recently toured Mexico with Lance Blaise, Teggno’s label head.

Jon Rundell - Mind Games (Teggno Records) :: Coming Soon!
This latest offering, hot off the presses just in time for the Winter Music Conference (WMC) comes from Carl Cox’ protege Jon Rundell. Having spent a good deal of time touring with the legend himself, Jon’s managed to carve out his own sound that melt’s Carl’s signature techno with flavors of electro (a la Kanzyani) and trance (a la van Dyk).
Joining Jon on this release are Jesus Loved You staple Tomy DeClerque, Rafael Noronha & Re Dupre and Lance Blaise & Rod B. Each artist brings something different, while maintaining their definitive motto: “put out quality techno music for the 21st century.”
