In January of 2003, after a long and recognized musical career, releasing his tracks on a large number of labels (Weekend, Virgin, Sony, Defected...), and seeing the amazing success of the track Dr. Kucho! “Belmondo Rulez” in Malta, Dr. Kucho! decided to give a second chance to this tune re-releasing it, after some little modifications, with the name “Belmondo Rulez 2.0” as first release of his new record label: Disc Doctor Records.

This was a strong beginning for this little new Spanish label. Vocal version, even with video clip, was done, it was remixed by Bob Sinclar, included in the most important compilations of the moment, played in the radios, clubs… and reviewed and charted by the most important magazines and djs, becoming number 6 of best tracks of the year by DJ magazine UK 2003.

The label started 2010 releasing “New School Tribal”, a tune with African roots and catchy chants that reached the number 26 of Beatport’s house top downloads in just one week, maintaining this position and closers for weeks. It seems that Disc Doctor Records has a special drive to start each new year full of energy, as demonstrated also on January 2009 with the release of new remixes of “Patricia never leaves the house”, from Dr. Kucho!, Gregor Salto, Peter Gelderblom and Mike Haddad & Royce Haven, being one of the best sellers at Beatport during the beginning of the 2009.
