BIOGRAPHY

The music has not been far away for the Producer & the DJ Burak Yeter. The fact that his father is a musician, this has made him to gain a lot of things. He tried for his first experience in the small house parties in 1996 together with his affection for music in his early ages. At first, he made music in the Progressive Breaks, Beat-Drum’n’Base, Funk styles and began to obtain his place in the cabin.

He has became first in the 2004 MtV & Burn DJ competition for Turkey, which has been organised with the participation of the “Masters At Work” and which has been the candidate for the Grammy awards, where he mentions this as the turning point of his life. At the same time, he had the chance to share the same cabin with Darrick May and Darren Emerson in the island of Malta for the representation of Turkey.

He has shown himself once again by becoming second in the competition of ‘2004 Miller Master DJ Contest’, which was organised by Miller.

He had proved himself by rising to the first three position amongst from very many DJ’s of the world in the DJ’s competition, which was organised with the cooperation of the MtV Shakedown, in Italia Club di Roma.

He has the projects, which he had actualised himself, nearly 100 House based works, more than 400 Afro Soul & R’n’B, Drum ‘n’ Base and Hiphop beats. He provides base possibilities and vocal recordings for many groups and mc’s. Additionally, he prepares jingle generic advertisement music. He prepares remixes for the respected artists in Turkey.

He made available the first single DJ album of Turkey with the name of ‘FOR ACTION’ in the cassette/ CD format in the market in 2006. He gathered together many famous artists in the album, where Ahmet Çelenk was the publishing producer. He shot clips for the works ‘Dön Bana’ and ‘Bir Şarkı Söyle’ of the album. The clip of the opening piece ‘Dön Bana’ is continuing to be shown in many musical channels, as the MTV being the first, in Kral Tv, Dream Tv, Number One, Power Turk.

His Progressive House style work called ‘Ex-press’, has been pressed as vinyl by Drum Central Records.

He has started to receive education on sound engineering in SAE, which is accepted to be one of the best schools in the world. He had chance to work in the studios in England.

During 2007, his work called, ‘’Are You Ready’, has been printed as EP by Hypno Music Recordings, which is situated in London. BY, who decorated the work, which is in the Electro House style, with the vocals of Merve and himself has also shot a video clip at the same time.

When he reached the 25 years of age, he prepared his 2. album and he published his new album in 2007 in Turkey, which mainly contains Chill Out with the aim for the support for the global warming. The leading artists of Turkey are in this album, which is on the market with the DSM label.

The “For Message Volume 2” album, which is the first and the only album published in relation to the global warming in Turkey, has been published in order to gain back the nature, which we are approaching to destroy it step by step. All the works in the album, which had also the contributions of the Ministry of the Environment and the Forestry at the same time, have been recorded in the SAE studios in England.

He shot the first clip piece of his 2. album to the work called ‘Sanal’ , which he created for the support to the global warming.

He put more weight on his Electro works in December 2007. His work called, ‘Black is Black’, which he decorated with the vocals of Merve and himself, has been printed as vinyl by the M-Vitamine Recordings.

The work called ‘’Logic’’, which has been in the compilation album of ‘Boshporus Underground Recordings’, which was the bomb of the 2008, has been in the first 100 of the largest digital portal site, www.beaport.com, within the 14032 releases in the world and it had shown the success of being in the lists for approximately 3 weeks.

BY, who continues with his music works with full power, has performed in the Antalya Club Ceila, which is accepted to be one of the best locations of Turkey, as his last performance for the summer of 2007. BY, who plays in Ceila on Wednesday- Friday - Saturdays, has completed the summer season at the end of the September.

BY, who continues to perform at home and at abroad with full speed, is continuing to be without sleep for the music lovers…
