Two Lone Swordsmen: Remix winner

The winner of our Two Lone Swordsman remix competition has finally been announced.

DJ duo Frogs In Socks won the contest, and their remix is now available for download on Beatport.

Friends since childhood and great believers in ‘if its stupid do it’, Tom (TJ Hooker) and Oli (coute) have been DJing since failing to impress on the boyband scene.

Remix Sasha for emFire!

As one of the world’s biggest DJs, Britain’s Sasha knows a thing or two about good music.

He has asked Beatportal to help him find one talented producer to remix his hit single ‘Mongoose’, one of the biggest tracks of the year, for his own record label emFire.

This is a huge competition as so far, only Sasha’s solo productions have appeared on the label.

So this is your chance to be the first ever artist (other than Sasha) to appear on emFire!

What’s more the remix competition is open to producers from all genres – Sasha’s looking for innovative, cutting-edge and thought-provoking mixes of his track.

Update: Sasha remix contest begins January 15th

Hold your horses — and get your gears ready — Beatport and Beatportal’s remix contest for Sasha will now launch on Tuesday, January 15th.

As previously announced, beginning January 15th, Beatport and Beatportal will offer a special remix opportunity for fans of legendary DJ and producer, Sasha.

Sasha, along with his record label, emFire, will offer a Sasha track with individual parts available for download from Beatport.

The first place winner of the remix contest will have their winning remix released on the emFire label.

So get your production skills in order, and check back on Beatportal next week for the official contest announcement and details.
