Roger Sanchez’ studio insurance in Ibiza

Beatportal had the honour of visiting Roger Sanchez’ villa in Ibiza yesterday and hanging out with him in his studio (a forthcoming Beatportal video is coming shortly!).

Halfway through a session demonstration, the power blew in his studio, with a big cracking sound.

“If you’re going to have a studio in Ibiza, you need to be properly prepared for power outages,” explained Roger calmly, pointing underneath his studio desk to a large black metal gadget which had ‘Black Sound’ written on it.

As the season in Ibiza wears on and temperatures rise, summer rolls and the whole of Ibiza keeps on dancing.

Roger Sanchez revealed another of this season’s favorite tracks to Beatportal: Laidback Luke’s remix of David Guetta’s electro house banger ‘Delirious’ featuring the vocals of Tara Mcdonald.

Roger has seen the damage it does to a dancefloor and has noted it as a top summertime track for this season’s Release Yourself parties at Pacha in Ibiza.

As official media partner of Release Yourself Ibiza, Roger Sanchez will reveal his Top 10 DJ chart exclusively to Beatportal every two weeks throughout the summer.

With cuts from MLA, Samantha James and Lost Shade his chart this time features mainly chunky house beats and gives a good taster of what to expect on Release Yourself’s Ibiza dancefloor.
