Miami’s Winter Music Conference is fast approaching, and dance music fans, DJs, record labels and promoters are gearing up for the most important event of the year.

Beatport and Beatportal are teaming up with our good friends Remix Magazine to produce an informative guide to this year’s WMC, that will list all the best parties and club events happening in the city from March 25th - 31st 2008.

If you’re hosting a WMC party, submit your event’s details to Beatportal and we’ll try to include it in our printed booklet.

It’ll also get listed in Beatportal’s comprehensive WMC guide, which is coming soon.

Miami’s Ultra Music Fest official line-up confirmed

The official line-up for the 2008 edition of the Ultra Music Festival has been confirmed.

Working in conjunction with the annual Winter Music Conference, the festival serves as a sort of closing party for the widely attended electronic music event in Miami during March.

The ten year anniversary of the Ultra Music Festival runs on Friday and Saturday, March 28th and 29th, 2008.

The official tentative schedule for the Winter Music Conference has also been revealed.

Beatport WMC pool party - who do you want to play?

Next March Beatport will be at Remix Hotel again during Miami’s annual Winter Music Conference.

For four days we’ll be hosting a pool party at the National Hotel with top international DJs and artists that we like.

But who do you like? Who would you like to see play at Beatport’s pool party?

We’re open to suggestions, so post your DJ requests below to let us know who floats your Miami banana boat.
