Skylab 2007

My mind was spinning.  Even my dreams were woven with bits and pieces of reality which left sleeping very uneasy.  I hadn’t really eaten a full healthy meal in days.  Between my Blackberry surgically attached to my head, meetings with fire marshals and vendors, McDonald’s and non-stop emails, I had but only seconds to breathe every day and a whole lot of heartburn.  The reason: Skylab 2007.  At that point, it was a week away and I was nervous.

Did Anyone Order a Pizza?

After being confirmed that I was dating a male-stripper, I decided to not continue dating Mr. Chip n’ Dale.  As much fun as it was to look at him and to make out with him (don’t judge – you think I’d let him go without messing around for just a little minute??? C’mon, he was half Italian, half Thai!), I realized that there was only so much fun I could have with a guy in that profession. After a few of dates with him, I let him down easy, letting him know that I was getting back together with my ex (that was a lie).

Back in the Dating Game

Having been broken up with my boyfriend of 3 years and sulking over it for the last 3 weeks, I decided that it was high time to get out of my slump last night.  It was time to get out there, spend the night out on the town, and get a little wasted.  I was tired of being depressed, knowing full well that my ex was out there painting the town red. It was time that I should be going out on a date.

Dude Looks Like a Lady…

He’ll never hear the end of it.  For as long as he lives.  As far as we’re concerned, he’ll never live it down.  He had all the warnings and we’ve all tried to help him, but he didn’t listen.  And now, as I do my part to make sure his story lives on, I blog it so thousands of people will come to know Jayden’s story about his misstep.  This is a true story.

Sexual Barriers…

Summer.  Clubs are busier. Music gets better. Skirts are shorter.  Guys are leaner.  There’s really not anything bad to say about summer except the fact that clubs have a tendency of getting so hot that it ends up being a sauna. People are quite literally dripping on each other and the task of getting from one side of a busy hot club to the other in such conditions can leave you drenched with questionable perspiration and is grounds for an immediate shower.

The stress of putting on an outdoor rave

The countdown begins – it’s Monday and there are five days to go until my friend’s outdoor rave is supposed to go off.  The buzz isn’t settling and the 1000+ ravers who bought pre-sale tickets to the rave are anxious to find out where the hell the party was going to be.

Hello…

It’s Saturday night and the fire alarm won’t shut off in one of America’s busiest clubs.  White lights are flickering but it’s not the strobe, rather it’s the warning signs of possible danger.
