Swedish maximal techno DJ and producer Adam Beyer must be one of the productive blokes in dance music. In July alone he had five releases out, with the two tracker ‘Relapse’ on Truesoul being one of the highlights.

Lead track ‘Relapse’ offers acidic basslines, rotten sub bass and Beyer’s trademark cool FX and wicked percussion noises.

Female vocal snippets and just the right amount of glitch mean this track is a proper groover.

B side ‘Just A Memory’ is Detroit-inspired, featuring Technasia-style pads and jumpy kick drums.

It’s a deeper, more soulful approach to techno.

It’s about time that we recognise that Beyer is a true modern techno hero, one that constantly strives to push the sound forwards. We love you Adam.
