Tough Guys Don’t Dance - High Contrast

Tough Guys Don’t Dance

High Contrast [Hospital Records]

#07 in this month's The 20

Drum & bass heroes High Contrast proved that they’re in control of the jazzy funk step by releasing ‘Tough Guys Don’t Dance’, an album full of good beats, soulful vocals and glowing melodies.

Lead tracks ‘If We Ever’, ‘Everything’s Different’ and ‘Kiss Kiss Bang Bang’ were dropped by all the big d&b jocks, and spiritually High Contrast enlightened the genre with their LP.

Whilst most drum & bass producers hide in the dark side occupying a warped and foggy landscape, ‘Tough Guys Don’t Dance’ put a smile on your face and gave you an urge to click your heels.
