The Seduction Of Silence
Intrusion [Echospace (Detroit)]
#03 in this month's The 20Under his Intrusion
moniker we find Stephen Hitchell’s full-length debut on Echospace
, a chilled out, dub techno affair that glides through headphones to warm you like sunlight on a winter’s day.
Echoing chords cascade through simple basslines, and Caribbean lilts overlay dubby white noise explorations that glimmer with hints of warm ocean breezes and white sand beaches.
As the pace of the album builds, we ride the crest of the wave to the dancefloor with the 12-minute ‘Intrusion Dub’ only to ebb with the tides back to slower and more ambient waves of subsequent tracks.
Overall, get set to sparkle and fade with the expertly-produced ethereal moods that give this piece a sense of artistry.
