Electro house doesn’t often make it into The 20.
The reason for this is because there hasn’t been much innovation or inspiration in electro house lately, and The 20 is all about forward-thinking electronic music.
But Twocker’s ‘Stitch’ on Australia’s Vacation Records is so devastating a dancefloor weapon that we had to include it in this month’s The 20, even if it is a little formulaic.
Like Body Rockers massive electro anthem ‘Yeah Yeah’, ‘Stich’ is a twisted electro throbber that will whack a dancefloor into submission at the height of a set.
Featuring a huge catchy electro riff that rises and rises like a skyrocket, ‘Stitch’ is infectious and the programming and arrangement of the track is innovative enough that it’ll keep the dancefloor hooked right until the end.
The B side ‘Chopper’ is just as good, if not better, because it’s a little less obvious.
The beats on ‘Chopper’ too are rock solid and will rip apart the speakers – think James Zabiela at the height of one of his tech funk sets.
