Finally after months of waiting, one of the biggest remixes of the year has arrived. Konrad Black’s version of Snax ‘Honeymoon’s Over’ is a blissful, sexy and alluring slice of minimal house that has seduced dancefloors all over. 

Sounding like a cross between Prince and Justin Timberlake, Snax’ vocals work in perfect harmony with Black’s dark crisp techno beats.

The track strikes a perfect balance between the underground dancefloor mentality that techno heads live for, and the hook-led pop feeling that is required before a track attains the elusive anthem status.

And this one has anthem written all over it - a fact that became very clear after Troy Pierce dropped it at Beatport’s Miami pool party in March during this year’s Winter Music Conference.

It was stuck in Beatportal’s head for about a month afterwards, before we eventually found out its name.

In years to come, people might look back on 2007 and say Konrad Black’s remix of Snax ‘Honeymoon’s Over was the track of the year. Sublime.
