Shlomi Aber is one of Israel’s most talented producers having released a plethora of top notch melodic progressive and techno in the last 12 months, for labels as diverse as Cocoon, Toolroom and Ovum.

Now the wonderkid returns with a new release for British label Renaissance which is currently occupying a niche between progressive house and tech house.

‘Moods’ is dark and haunting and is constructed around a floating trance synth that whispers and taunts over a rolling bassline.

Slovenian DJ Valentino Kanzyani, who is the last 18 months has made a concerted effort to move away from his harder techno sounds delivers an equally dreamy melodic techno mix that is surprisingly timid.

Gel Abril’s jazz-infused Deep Involved Mix props up the package with a downtempo funky lounge version that is perfect for those 6am moments when you’re struggling to get to sleep after a night of raving.
