Fans of darker, more progressive techno should check Tigerskin’s new ‘Peter’s Secret Weapon’ which is more than your average minimal techno record.

Produced using just analogue equipment, the warmth and subtlety of ‘Peter’s Secret Weapon’ is what makes it stand out from the sea of minimal currently cluttering clubland.

Featuring a huge electric guitar breakdown and progressive house beats, the human vocals snippets of the single give the track an ethereal edge, whilst the arrangement makes it a perfect set builder.

Argy is reportedly a big fan of ‘Peter’s Secret Weapon’.

Also worth checking out on the EP is ‘Wanted’, which could work as an end-of-the-night techno record thanks to its soaring melodic synths, and ‘Suzuki Rider’ which grooves along thanks to its detuned lead line.
