New York Pony Club are part of this new rave malarkey, the dance-rock genre that was both slated and loved in equal measure in 2007. The London-based five piece band certainly caused a scramble on the dancefloor over their tracks ‘Ice Cream’ and ‘Bomb’.
Whilst dance music is centered around the computer, ‘Fantastic Playroom’ was refreshingly live and groovy.
Perfect pop music when you’ve had enough of repetitive beats.
