I Cling - Deetron

Featured Review #10

I Cling

Deetron [Music Man Records]

#10 in this month's The 20

Deetron’s original of ‘I Cling’ is pure deep house joy, featuring a soulful male vocal and bongos galore. But it’s Aril Brikha’s hot remix of ‘I Cling’ that is proving to be the most popular.

The trancey techno reinterpretation features the male vocal layered over a beautiful arpeggiated synth and bass combo.

At first the track is warm and spacey, but the vocal brings the track back into house territory, whilst Aril Brikha’s subtle FX and filters push the track forwards at hands-in-the-air pace.

This is a set-changing track, one that DJs should drop if they wish to take things to the next level.

There’s a funky deep house remix of ‘I Cling’ by Yoruba Soul and a slow burning funky techno version by DJinxx, but its Aril Brikha’s remix which guarantees dancefloor satisfaction.

On the release you’ll also find deep techno with ‘Backin’ which is a synth-led cacophony of atmosphere.
