#04 in this month's The 20From the artwork, to the album title, to the music; Tadeo’s ‘Contacto’ has a red line of thought provocation running throughout. Minimal in aesthetic, but large in emotional impact, the LP manages to move beyond the solidified walls of dancefloor techno and become entrenched in the murky grey area of thinking man’s music.
There’s an obvious Jeff Mills![[a]](http://www.beatportal.com/images/site/misc/wiki_box_a.gif)
influence to ‘Contacto’ with tracks like ‘Reflection Nebula 056n’ and ‘Eclipse’ imagining the ever expanding universe beyond, but it’s the musicality of the sounds he blends that makes it much more than the standard minimal techno release.
