More Mauruzio/Basic Channel style dub here as well, as ‘Black Russian’ has a repeating chord being filtered and bounced around with delay effects.
The dynamics come from mixing up and cutting the echo effects - resulting in a floor friendly affect.
‘Bounce’ adds house sensibilities to this style to add more, well, bounce!
‘Riddim’ adds a kick that has a deep bass note, and Jeff Mills style shuffling hats.
The break downs - to nearly only the kick - are effective and make for a nice melding of influences on this E.P.
