Announcing the 7th annual Beatport Beach Party
For weeks now, members of the Beatport community have been emailing to ask about our plans for Miami. At long last, all can be revealed.
Beatport will be bringing its seventh annual Beatport Beach Party to Miami’s Gansevoort Hotel during the traditional last weekend in March—a period that many are calling Miami Music Week—coinciding with Ultra Music Festival and the hundreds of club events and pool parties programmed around it.

Mark Knight live at the Beatport Beach Party
Our friends over at B@ TV popped down to the Beatport Beach Party in Miami last month to live broadcast some of our DJ sets over the web.
Toolroom boss Mark Knight was one of the DJs who received the live broadcast treatment, which you can watch in all its synchronized, four camera, superior sound quality glory here.
Knight opened his set by dropping an acapella over the top of his new track ‘Antidote’, which he produced with Funkagenda. It is due out on Beatport on April 14th. Watch the opening of his set after the jump.

Beatport Beach Party: It’s a wrap
We here at Beatport would like to thank everyone who supported us during Miami’s WMC last week.
Our goal was to create an event that would allow people from the industry to interact while providing a fun free event for music lovers to enjoy music and artists from Beatport. During our three day event, we hosted 30 of the world’s top DJs who showcased new music that will soon be available to download from Beatport. Additionally many other top artists, managers, technology companies, and industry professionals came through the Beatport Beach Party grounds for meetings and networking.
A special thanks goes to all the artists, managers, stage hands, sound engineers, Miami locals, and any one else we’ve forgotten about for helping to put together this amazing event.

Beatport Beach Party Line-up: WMC 2010
Once again Beatport makes its annual pilgrimage to Miami to bring you one of the most sought out events during the Winter Music Conference. “The Beatport Beach Party”, presented by Beatport, Pioneer and Armani Exchange takes place at Gansevoort Hotel’s beautiful private beach and will feature over 25 of the world’s best DJs, with no cover.
To ensure a memorable experience for all attendees Beatport has teamed up with Insomniac Events of Los Angeles and the Opium Group of Miami to showcase bigger and better production, visuals, and sound. This is the WMC event you don’t want to miss.
