Two Lone Swordsmen: Remix Competition

And now for something completely different. Beatportal has teamed up with Andrew Weatherall and Keith Tenniswood aka the Two Lone Swordsmen to find a talented producer to remix their hit single ‘Shack 54’ taken from their recent album ‘Wrong Meeting’.
‘Wrong Meeting’ is closer to post-punk and dub then the gritty electro that the Two Lone Swordsmen are known for and ‘Shack 54’ is unlike any other track we’ve used before in a remix competition on Beatportal.
“After years spent tearing other peoples’ music apart and presenting them with something which bears little relation to their original I felt it was time to offer the opportunity to others to do it to us,” Andrew Weatherall commented about the Beatportal remix comp.
The winning remix will be released digitally on Beatport initially followed by other download sites. And if it’s good enough, it may also be featured on an official forthcoming remix album, so this really is your chance to get your name on a Two Lone Swordsmen record.
