Fabric Nightclub has launched a podcast series beginning today, October 24th.

Longtime resident Craig Richards hosts the inaugural podcast, an affair geared towards listening rather than dancing, delving into some essential artists from various categories.

Future podcasts promise to be have unlimited range and to be hosted by invited musical luminaries; Andrew Weatherall, known as a DJ and primarily for his Two Lone Swordsmen project — hosts the next edition on a yet-to-be announced date.

Future invitees are described by Fabric as “people who have dedicated their lives to creating and expressing music we love and admire; a roster to include some artists who perform at the club, some who perhaps have never performed in any club, some mentors, some underrated champions of genres lost by time and trends, but all purveyors of good music, whatever that may be.

“We’ve asked them to just play music that they love, that has inspired them, regardless of genre, time or any attachments people have to them with certain musical industries, and explain to listeners why they’ve selected the pieces they have.”
