Rebirth Records was established in 2006 by former Oxyd A&R;Daniele “Shield” Contrini in partnership with Motivo’s Ricky Romanini and Luca Moretti. The label spawned its first release in early summer 2006 with the powerful “Finest Dream (Lead You To Heaven)”, performed by And If featuring vocals by the timeless vocalist Alison Limerick.
It followed up with strong releases by NUfrequency Feat. Plavka (ex Jam & Spoon vocalist), the return of Billie Ray Martin with “Undisco Me” and debut releases from up and coming artists like Outmode, Robytek and Edison (Andy Chatterley, producer of Skylark and Buick Project with Nic Fanciulli).
Rebirth rapidly grew his reputation, trying not to follow the trends but creating its own sound, and in 2008 exploded with the big hit from Adam K & Soha “Twilight” and the amazing new single from NUfrequency with Shara Nelson “Go That Deep”, which has been already reviewed as the vocal tune of 2008.
Rebirth has been already considered by many the best Italian house label around, receiving a big support and respect in the underground house music scene.
