“The label behind such seminal releases as Stylophonic, Josh One and Loose Headz returns after several years outta the limelight with this sleeper from last summer that since has become a key ingredient in sets for Paul Oakenfold, Ricky Montanari and Dave Lambert. As to ‘Zigano’ it’s quality tech-house that matches swinging basslines with dubbed out beats, funky instrumentation complete with violins and an equally off-the-wall vocal workout. There’s little to choice between the mixes, but for me the Original version that fuses dirty funk with Balearic house harks back to a bygone era of originality and experimentation all too missing in many of today’s releases.”
