Worthy’s Katabatic Records gets hit with a cease and desist for label name

Worthy’s label Katabatic Records are taking a bit of hit.

As of two weeks ago Katabatic Records have had to suspend operations under the name Katabatic.

Katabatic received a cease and desist letter for trade mark infringement from a label in Oakland, CA with the similar name of Katabatik records.

Katabatik with a K is a death trance, weirdcore, abandoned house, zombient and queasy listening label that in no way could be mistaken for Katabatic.

As of now we are changing our name to Anabatic Records.

We are hoping that the name is similar enough to Katabatic as not to cause too much confusion.

Please spread the word to anyone you know who is a fan of the label.

A website at the domain anabaticrecords.com will be up shortly, and we will be back to releasing the top quality tech house music expected from us.

Our next release is Yaron Cohen’s “Laffy Taffy” which includes two great remixes by Style of Eye and Yankee Zulu. Release date is 09/24
