Wolfgang Gartner had his tongue firmly in his cheek when he made ‘Push & Rise’, a new track that emulates Daft Punk’s robot-voice-driven electro with ease.

It ain’t exactly innovative in sound, or have the flair of the Frenchmen’s music, but ‘Push & Rise’ will surely fill floors faster than you can say ‘I love vocoders’.

Wolfgang Gartner can be credited with having brought fresh direction to the electro house sound with his crowd-pleasing basslines and accessible sounds that pack plenty of mainroom punch.

‘Push & Rise’ shows that he’s also able to do more pop-flavoured electronic music: it is certainly radio friendly.

Whether or not Gartner will choose to continue down this avenue only time will tell.
