WMC Track: Style of Eye ‘Hide’ (Dirtybird)

Dirtybird are one of North America’s top record labels, and every release they put out seems to be a big hitter.
None more so than Style of Eye’s ridiculously groovy ‘Hide’, taken from ‘The Big Kazoo’ EP.
It features a very quirky vocal, and we love those weird quirky vocals here at Beatportal, because when you hear it come through the speakers of some dark club at 4am it always feels like you’re in a magical place that’s mysterious and unexplored.
Stripped back may be all the rage these days in electronic music, but somehow Style of Eye manages to make his track sound full and well rounded, whilst at the same time being very simple and direct.
Style of Eye’s ‘Hide’ is guaranteed to be heard all over South Beach next week during the Winter Music Conference. You can bet your last mojito on it.
