It would be impossible to imagine WMC this year without at least one Deadmau5 record dominating the Miami week. The all pervasive nature of his records is such that, even if you avoid going to see any electro house DJs and don’t visit any of the festivals or large clubs (where his music works best), you’ll still end up hearing his records over the radio, booming out of car stereos or echoing across hotel swimming pools from adjacent balconies.

Deadmau5 remix of Calvin Harris ‘I’m Not Alone’ is the mau5 record I heard a lot at WMC.

Deadmau5 turned Calvin Harris’ unique poppy dance original into a warmly inviting progressive house record, that’s similar in style and sound to his hit ‘Move For Me’ which he made with Kaskade last year.

It’s an end of the night record that is euphoric, catchy and ultimately very mainstream. Undoubtedly it’ll be a rather large hit very soon.
