Five a.m., Thursday morning.

The sun’s beginning to crack the sky, and once again, you’re reminded why you bought the biggest, darkest pair of Aviator shades you could find before you got to Miami.

The next thought is inevitable: “What now?”

Simple.

Come party with the guys who are used to kickin’ some afterhours ass!

FutureMob, the local Miami group who brought James Zabiela to the U.S. on his tour, has Thursday locked-down, with “Earlybird: The Afterhours WMC Special” at Studio A in Downtown Miami.

The set by Claude VonStroke is a WMC Exclusive, and possibly worth the trip entirely.

Of course, FutureMob has plenty of back-up, Justin & Christian Martin and WORTHY to name a few.

It’ll be plenty of fun until noon.

Remember, these guys host “Pop Tarts,” the unofficial WMC opener where no one can spin “anything new, or anything electronic,” and have Dynacord sound systems backing their quality.

So you scan around the beach, get some drinks, talk to some girls.

You see that DJ you’ve been waiting to get a picture with, and get one taken for your MySpace Album, affectinately entitled “WHOO-HOO! WMC 2008!!!,” or something similar.

The Beatport Pool party went down great, you got to see James Zabiela and Nic Fanculli spin between six and eight p.m. 

“So.... WHAT NOW?”

Oh yeah. THAT question.

Well, it would probably be a good time to take that long overdue shower, and get your ass to the IDMA’s, because you so patriotically sent in your ballot this year, the moment you found out the voting began, affirming your allegiance to “The House Nation.”

Thank you soldier. You may now proceed to party. 

And guess what? It’s back to Studio A with the FutureMob.

Ride the afterhours train guys! Conference is starting to wrap up already.

Pack it in boys and girls, cause you’ve got a lot more partying to do tomorrow, and ULTRA is almost upon us.
