We’re so excited about heading to Miami’s annual Winter Music Conference, that the disgusting airport breakfast we have just endured bounces off us like a beachball.

Over the next seven days Beatportal will be reporting live from Miami WMC 2008 and we promise that totally irrelevant pictures of our food won’t be the only blog content we’ll be updating you with.

In fact, we’re looking to come back from Miami with a much more musically orientated snapshot of WMC 2008.

We’ll be interviewing important electronic music artists and DJs and will be hounding them for hot new music.

Then there’s the parties and events - we’ll be at the most important club nights and pool parties keeping you lot up to date with the Miami shenanigans (let’s hope Industry Boy behaves himself).

On a serious note, we’ll also be blogging from the WMC centre, where panels full of industry players will be unfolding with tales of the future of the dance music industry. Some interesting discussions should take place.
