Blasting off with an old Barrington Levy sample from ‘Youthman’, this hi-octane drum & bass tune is a hybrid of the old and new, mixing in old school formulas with newer, hard-edged productions and sounds.

Hailing from New Zealand, the new leading territory of hard edged d&b, Warren Field, aka Agent Alvin, uses very synthetic sounds and productions and alongside fellow cohorts Brookes Brothers and Sub Focus are leading a new way of techier, well rounded production artists in d&b.

‘Wicked Man’ uses a combination of build ups and break downs to pump maximum energy into this sci-fi, jump up tune, whilst harnessing techno style bass beats to exemplify the massive riff.

Having promo’d the track about 6 months ago, Viper Recordings have been taunting us with this track for ages now, and many have eagerly awaited for its release, and whether he wants to or not, after listening to this tune Jah will surely be out and about and coming to check out what all the noise is about.
