For a label that’s associated with releasing drum & bass anthems, and the massive 2007 album that was TC’s ‘Evolution’, putting out a dubstep record could seem risqué.

However, with the level of support this track has received from the D & B community, including Roni Size and Fabio, this is bound to be the track that further blurs the boundaries and completely crosses the dubstep / drum & bass divide.

The track borrows the ring call sample from the original and builds its dubstep beats and bassline around this.

The original phone conversation from the TC track is re-recorded with a completely different take on it. And then hits the bassline; like an avalanche hitting a small Apline ski-resort of unsuspecting holiday- makers in peak season.

This tune should not be taken lightly.

Maintaining the feel of the original and incorporating Caspa’s characteristic ‘wobbly’, jump-up dubstep sound, this is a seriously big tune whichever side of the dubstep/drum and bass divide you fall.
