Westbam ‘Love Parade’ interview

As the world’s biggest dance party, the Love Parade in Germany has grown to become a symbol of the unifying power of dance music. Each year over one million clubbers hit the streets of Berlin for the parade, as hundreds of DJs perform on floats and moving stages under the inclusive banner of love and freedom.

This year the Love Parade will take place in the city of Essen on 25th August 2007, and one of the Love Parade founders Westbam has created an official anthem for this year’s parade.

‘Love Is Everywhere’ is the title, and the track is the result of a collaborative effort between Westbam and The Love Committee.

With the help of our good buddies Ministry of Sound in Germany, we managed to track down Westbam and he took a couple of minutes to answer Beatportal’s questions.
