Copyright aka Sam Holt and Gavin Mills are two of Britain’s leading house music producers, having released quietly assured house music for almost a decade on some of the scene’s biggest labels, including Defected.

They dropped their debut album ‘Voices and Visions’ last year to much acclaim, with classic song-writing, soulful house music grooves and impressive collaborations from some of the biggest vocalists in house music making an appearance on the LP.

The duo have been selected to mix the next high profile annual ‘Defected In The House Ibiza’ compilation, which is due out on May 25th and Copyright’s recent tribal vocal cut ‘Roots’ (check it in the player) did serious damage at WMC, so we decided to ask them to submit their big three for this week’s Weekend Weapons feature.

They gave us three absolute house bombs!

Giorgio Giordana ‘Amazzonia’ (David Tort Remix)

The vibe on this one is ridiculous Ibizan peak time monster jam. Every time, every floor, every country this simply destroys it.

David Tort is the man of the moment for us.

P’taah ‘Dance Until We Die’ (Kenny Dope Remix)

Kenny Dope rocks the beats and P’taah (believe it or not was the man behind the Wamdue Project) delivers a sexy, nagging late night vibe.

It sounds deep at first but again works every time.

Harry Choo Choo ‘Cumbia’

This has been our biggest record for a few months now. It has that massive accordian all the way through it.

It’s a powerful record that is a lot of fun.

We love it so much that we had to do our own special re-edit and we’ve included it on our Ibiza comp this year.
