Brazil’s Felguk have been making serious waves with their ballsy, banging brand of prog-tinged electro house, jumping from headlining slots across their native country to successful North American tours, slots on Vendetta comps, and now even a remix for Madonna herself. (Perhaps it was the name of the duo’s label, Giant Pussy Records, that sealed the deal for the perennially hot ‘n’ bothered pop star.)

Their latest milestone is a remix for David Guetta and Flo Rida’s ‘Club Can’t Handle Me’, alongside reworks from Sidney Samson, Manufactured Superstars, and Ridney.

It’s our official set starter. It has been working wonders for a long time.

Steve Angello, ‘KNAS’ [Size Records]

We like to avoid the obvious choices, but in this case we just couldn’t! Huge track, bassline, groove… and so few elements on it… Steve Angello did it!

Uppermost, ‘Take a Blow’ [Bazooka Records]

This is a heavy track! We like to play it when we want to take the energy a little bit to the aggressive side. Sometimes it can be a little bit too heavy, but other times it just fits in perfectly with the moment.

Kaskade, ‘Dynasty (Dada Life Remix)’ [Ultra]

We just love the way Dada Life can be very hard, but also very melodic. They were also very clever on the way they chopped the vocal. Simple and good.

Milani, Cristian Marchi & Nari, ‘I Got My Eye On You feat. Luciana (Chuckie Remix)’ [I Hate U]

This track has a very interesting switch between the classical dirty dutch Chuckie style, with a surprising progressive house groove. We usually play this after a very noisy or commercial track, just to get the crowd grooving again.

Mason, ‘Exceeder (Felguk Remix)’ [Taste/d Music]

This is a pearl in our set. The classic Mason hit melody (from 2006) and the groovy, funky bassline just make everyone dance. It has a retro feel but with a modern sonority.
