If there’s one thing those folks at legendary vinyl emporium Hardwax love, it’s an anonymous release project.

But beyond all the excitable forum chatter about who may be behind this latest enigmatic venture, fans of classically-tinged, elegantly produced, techno deepness will be pleased to know that the music more than lives up to hype.

The first of the two unnamed tracks is in the vogueishly retro mold of lush, richly textured melodies and tightly wound beats, with Motor City flutters shifting effortlessly across an aqua-planed groove.

The second of the pair is grittier, working crunching 909 hats over shiny stabs in finest Berlin big room style.

We’ve got our suspicions as to who’s behind it, but we’ll leave the sleuthing to you…
