Layering cascading pianos over rich strings and unobtrusive drums, Watson clearly is as passionate about Detroit’s most romantic reaches as he ever was.
This is a tasteful approach to harmony may be a bit too jazzy for modern trends, it’s still a textbook lesson in the art of techno-soul.
