Video: The origins of the Roland TB-303 bassline
3 March, 2009 | 2.42PMHere is a video documentary about the Roland TB-303 bassline, a synthesizer with a built-in sequencer that was manufactured by the Roland corporation in 1982.
It had a defining role in the development of electronic music and was used extensively by producers of acid, house, trance, techno and drum & bass, and its distinctive sound still dominates the electronic music scene today.
Unfortunately some of the text in the video is unreadable in this web format, but the film gives a great overview of the 303.
