Many of you may recognise Redlight as the infamous Full Cycle DJ, Clipz who alongside DJ Die and Roni Size helped spearhead the jump-up drum & bass movement in Bristol earlier this decade. Having recently had some radio success on recent hits ‘Give It To Me’ and ‘Ugly’ Clipz decided to manufacture a new pseudonym, bring the tempo down and add a kicking house beat; and so Redlight was born.

With the current underground bass music taking a more housier vibe and incorporating influence from the 90’s garage scene it was just the right time for Ms.Dynamite to make her overdue return to the scene. With other prolific drum & bass artists bringing the tempo down and making house music, such as Zinc and Sub Focus and with other up and coming creative artists, like XXXY, Hot City and Doc Daneeka it feels like a very exciting time for underground UK house music.
