Filmmaker David Terranova is back with another shimmering Rebel Rave installment. His video content is, hands down, some of the best dance music video content I’ve ever seen.

In this episode we meet Los Angeles’ very own techno musketeers Droog, who coincidentally launched their new record label Culprit this week, with the excellent ‘h.e.a.d.s.’ EP.

The film follows the Droog guys Andrei Osyka, Brett Griffin and Justin Sloe as they put on a party on the roof of The Standard hotel in downtown LA.

Then the scene shifts to the other coast of America, where we meet Butane in Miami, and dance at the Get Lost party during WMC.

Culprit launches with ‘h.e.a.d.s.’ EP

Back in March we had sneak previews of Culprit’s first release, but the Droog guys are such perfectionists that they waited until now to release it, after much musical pontification (we’ve been told).

And it was worth the wait with Lee Foss and Jamie Jones uniting in the studio under the alias of Hot Natured, collaborating on a trio of booty-shaking, deep-digging, darkly grooving tracks, the results are pretty spectacular (listen to previews in the player below).

It’s an excellent start from a promising young label, and with more to come don’t be surprised if Culprit soon becomes one of the hottest underground house labels in America, alongside the Wolf + Lamb Music crew.
