Brazilian techno producer Gui Boratto was a runner-up in the Beatport Music Awards 2008 in both the Best Techno and Best Electronica Artist categories.

That achievement is down to his phenomenal debut artist album ‘Chromophobia’ which was released on Kompakt in 2007.
