Video: How to not organise a nightclub queue

Miami’s WMC is infamous for its terribly organised nightclub queues and rude-as-you-like doormen.

Last night at Defected’s WMC 2009 party, the queue outside SET was a perfect example of the lack of organisational skills clubs have Miami have.

As our video shows, there wasn’t anything resembling a line.

Instead the 200 or so people outside Set formed a kind of rugby scrum, with people at the back trying to push their way to the front.

The people at the front tried desperately to get the attention of the head doorman or guestlist guy, but their attempts were in vain mostly, as both of them kept disappearing into the nightclub to take care of other business seemingly.

There was no system, and after 45 minutes of waiting around we had to leave.

Of course it’s not Defected’s fault that Miami has such a curiously pityful door system, but surely somebody can speak some sense into these fools?

Customers need to be treated better than this.
